What’s New at Regional Bikur Cholim

    Tager Chanukas Habayis Campaign

Reb Chaim Tager הי"ו decided to celebrate the upcoming Chanukas Habayis of his new home in Monroe, NY in a special way. He launched a campaign to raise $150,000, equivalent to one month’s budget, to benefit Regional Bikur Cholim.

    Reb Chaim writes:

As a expression of my thanks to Hashem who allowed me to live to see this moment, when I have merited thank G-D to move into my new home, I feel it an honor to use this happy opportunity for a mitzvah that is very close to my heart.

Being personally acquainted with… Regional Bikur Cholim, which provides various life-supporting services to deliver health and strength to the sick of Klal Yisrael and families undergoing a difficult period, which I personally witnessed from up close on a number of occasions, I therefore undertook to raise a large sum to sponsor the expenses for an entire month of this organization until the Chanukas Habayis that I hope to celebrate with the help of Hashem… together with my partners in this great mitzvah.

Starting with Reb Chaim’s own donation of $18,000, dozens of family and friends have stepped forward with contributions big and small, ranging in size from $18,000 down to $180. As of Wednesday, August 19th, this campaign has generated the fantastic sum of $145,822—within $5,000 of the goal!

What an incredible and meaningful way to mark a momentous occasion!

Regional Bikur Cholim wishes Reb Chaim Tager much joy in his new home.
